At Rapid Urgent Care, we are all about providing health care to meet your specific needs. Therefore, Rapid Urgent Care is now offering home visits. You can stay in the safety and comfort of your own home and our staff will come to you.

Of course if you are experiencing a true medical emergency then you should immediately call 911 for help now.

However, many urgent care needs can be properly assessed and treated while in your home. For the convenience of a home visit, a $25 fee is added to your charges. The convenience fee is paid by the patient separate from insurance charges. Most other charges are covered by insurance. 

 

Here's how it works. Simply book an appointment time that works for your schedule by calling 985-674-4464. Then a Rapid Urgent Care Nurse/Medical Assistant will come to your home. We will bring the appropriate tools and tests to assess your medical condition. These tools and tests might include items such as vital sign measurements for blood pressure or temperature. They might also include tests for the flu, strep or COVID. We will also bring a laptop video link where through our telemedicine portal each patient will be properly examined and questioned by a physician.  

 

If medications are needed, our physicians can call these into your pharmacy and in most cases can even have them delivered to your home for further time savings and convenience.
